I like the Dwarven Stability skill, but it takes being drunk, as you know, to prevent knock down. This frees up a spot for Dash on my bar, which is great in HM for running out of groups as it is 50% faster and they breakoff. Also because Dwarven Stability is a stance extender, I have 3+2=5 seconds of Dash on a 8 second recharge, which is not bad, so usually two spams of Dash an you leave everyone in a the dust. Otherwise I would be left with putting back IAU and either taking out Dash or possibly Heat of Shadow, and neither of these would I like to eliminate.

I now have 4 toons that can do this run: SH Ele UA Monk, or HB - but you dont need an HB... SF Perma Sin Spirits Rt That basically covers all the major roles at that are covered in this run. So if you guys have any of these spots open up in your group I can fill it :) And if we ever do normal slavers again all of those toons can be adapted to the normal build as well. Except maybe the sin, but w/e...

ok..what a night...
So I got tired of having bad groups while I was trying to be the lazy spirit guy. I was forced to break out the sin and start running. Well over the course of the runs, the same guy got: a req 9 Voltaic Spear a req 9 Fellblade and a Legendary Sword I'm not sure what req. Then on my last run... he got...another...Voltaic spear.....wow... He was so happy that he gave me the req 9 Fellblade and 5k :lol:

Req 9 Fellblade is worth 20-25, clean. Very nice indeed.

Just in case you did not think that Voltaic Spears are becoming much more plentiful, Guru has now 21 for sale. That is 5 times more than the average has been.

Guru says it has 21, but only 9 come up on the page when I look. I think there is a bug with Guru auctions, something with updating the listings maybe?

Finally got my Voltaic to drop and it was a Rec 9. Will still continue to do some runs as it is fun and you get a lot of gold. Anyone want to buy some Diamonds or Gems cheep, got almost a stack of each.

The Farm is Nerfed. First UA now I hear Thomis will not pull to wall, not verified, but ran with a group past the second update, because one of there guildies said the second update nerfed Thomis and he did not come to wall.

Once they nerf it the people that abused it cash in when the economy goes back to normal. UA needed a nerf. People were abusing stuff all over the place in this game just by using a hero with UA. There was even a build to farm the bosses of the Path to Revelations quest by sending a hero there and the UA the team. I wonder how many elite tomes were farmed with practically no effort at all.

While I can understand a slight nerf of UA to avoid hero running and spawning on top of bosses, IMO they made the range too short. As has been mentioned on a couple of forums, I think that compass range would be a good balance to allow good usefulness while not allowing extreme over manipulation of the skill. :roll:

Well, UA is still very impressive. You get: - Old style Healer's Boon (which people used) - Still the best rez in the game. -- Teleports like Rebirth -- 100% hp and energy -- Fastest Rez in the game --- don't even have to stop action/moving to drop enc --- 1/4s re-cast -- only 5e to recast -- still matches longest range of any other rez -- rezzes someone else on your death. -- absolutely none of the negatives other rez skills have... (single use signets, touch range, skill blackouts, energy drain, mutual death if dies again, etc) So, in my mind, the only thing wrong with this is that it doesn't let you pick who is being rezzed, but really, that doesn't bother me too much, since people will generally get popped up pretty fast regardless with this (esp if placed on a hero). The unlimited teleport thing just broke too much of the game. Hero running was just silly, whether it be to the next zone or to the desired boss/whatever. It also allowed for a completely different approach to things like The Deep, and likely some other missions.

However, I am still not clear on exactly what the range of this spell is. The description states that it "only works on party members within spell casting range. Although I did not see anything on either of the wikis setting forth a precise "spell casting" range, my assumption is that spell casting range is ~ 1.2 aggro bubbles, or the same as the range of Rebirth. However, I am not aware of any way to know if you are actually in range to rez, without guessing. With Rebirth you have the ability to click on the skill and know if you are in range. But with UA, it seems that you simply deactivate the enchant and hope that you are in range. Yes, if your not in battle, this is a moot point - but if you are trying to rez a dead party member who's body is in harm's way, your character won't automatically move into range to use UA as a rez. Also, while the casting energy is small, taking into account the maintained enchantment energy depeation will add a little more to the energy cost.

Although the popularity has diminished, I will continue to do this. The run is still very doable although the Sin does not have the safety net of UA. When I run it with my Sin, I generally like to go with guildies in critical positions such as monk. Both a Cryway team and SH team are effective and its debatable which is better. So if anyone want to go give me a shout.

Also, while the casting energy is small, taking into account the maintained enchantment energy depeation will add a little more to the energy cost. You are correct of course, JET, but I see the cost of maintaining greatly offset by the 50%± boost to healing. This skill make Hybrid heal/prot builds much more effective, and you can wait longer to heal to get that red bar back to where it is supposed to be.
