Just tell them to nerf it after the Hoidays
This is what I ended up using
E/Me ear=12+3+1 ins=9 ene=8 air=5
Glyph of Swiftness
Obsidian Flesh
Stoneflesh Aura
Mantra of Earth
Sliver Armor
Teinai's Crystals
Crystal Wave
Air of Superiority
Equipment 20% enchant Staff & GeoArmor (all in Insignias are Gemoancer and all Runes, except earth, are health. If I had a 20% enchant mode for a sword I would carry it a long with my shield that has +45 health while in a stance and +10 verse Earth damge
New to farming
My desire for 4 leaf clovers pushed me into farming for the first time this weekend.
I tried a version of this build and I am working out the kinks like timing and technique. (Translated - I died a lot)
I slowly walked around and gathered baddies, but didn't have enough energy to kill them before I died.
One thing that I found that should be obvious was this tidbit of advice from Wiki: "Show your Norn Title so that your health is increased."
I'm always interested in efficient farming, and I think, purely for holiday drops, this one is the best, at least in the keg version. I've been farming raptors because I can leech on my other account, and Disco is level 9 Asuran, so he benifits too, without any additional work.
With raptors, you kill 32 foes, including the boss. With vaettris you kill 60, normal drop rates, no contest.
Moongod Jay, FOM's uber 1337 player, and my hero as a farmer, has around 4 stacks of clovers doing the keg farm. I have around 1 stack with raptor farming. He has probably spent more time on it than I have, but I'll bet his yield per hour is a lot higher.
I didn't see this mentioned previously, but if you stand at the Sacred Alter after you kill the groups, you gain a Morale Boost. While 2% isn't much, it stays after you zone. Repeat the first few runs and you can have a 10% Morale Boost for free. Makes the runs that much easier after a bit.
If you are using a hero, you can flag him there while you fight the lower group. I have the hero doing it as 600/smite, since I only have a monk to use.
