I thought it to be over kill also but being in their group I went with it. I was actually suprised we did it so easily, but then again we did have a Rit :D

On that note, one of my favorite party configurations is to run with 2 Rits, one healing/support and one damage dealer. Add in a good full party healer, a protection monk, and then whatever damage dealers which fit well for the area you are in, and you can conquer all but a few areas in the game - in NM or HM. One REALLY nice thing about having lots of spirits around is that they spread damage very effectively. Spread out the spirits a little and enemies will often attack a spirit instead of the party members - which makes thing substantially easier for the party's healers. :D

I barely use my hero Rit's, they will just put up Spirits whenever/wherever. Is there a way to get them to just put them up when the time is right or do you just keep the skills x'ed out and put them up manually?
