Running now requires no skill......
http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:R/Mo_Ghost_Runner The PvE/PvP split has led to some ridiculous results. Perma Shadow form, and now running with no skill required. Of course, I will have to try this out just to see how it all works. Basically, you load the skill bar on your hero and start up Unyielding. Sac your self or Leeroy, click on your hero to see what he/she is seeing, and flag to where you need to go. At the portal, remove unyielding from the hero and, voila! You are at the portal. Points to the creator for clever use, demerits for ANet for not nerfing this yet (Do I sound like my Grandpa yet? - 12 miles, uphill both ways).

If I were not so lazy, I would create a new Prophecies toon and see how little I could explore and still finish all of the missions.

so I guess that heroes don't spawn monsters. never knew that before. This is very interesting and will likely get nerfed fast. I agree with the kudos to the intelligent person who thought of it.

Tough part is running by the groups near the spawn point. Once past these you will be home free until the next portal.

so I guess that heroes don't spawn monsters. never knew that before. This is very interesting and will likely get nerfed fast. I agree with the kudos to the intelligent person who thought of it. The fact that Heroes do not spawn baddies is what makes HFFF work.

Ah, I see. I guess I would have known that if I had ever done HFFF. (I was a Factions holdout and waited until just about a year ago when it was down to $10 to buy)

I tried bargaining with them at the store telling them that no one will buy that :P It didnt work :lol:

The heroes don't spawn mobs is also how I finally got through Divinity Coast hard mode without getting one of the weakling chosen killed before I could save them. You just went with just h&h, flagged the party ahead, they killed the melee mobs already there, then you strolled up and picked up the chosen. The rest was easy anyway.

Tough part is running by the groups near the spawn point. Once past these you will be home free until the next portal. Actually not hard at all... just take 6 other hero/hench, and flag them to the red dots, far enough away where they won't come back and rez you. Once the red dots are gray dots, then start the run as normal.

Having now tried this, I am amazed at how well it works. Yes, you have to get by the initial mobs, and you have to navigate without the benefit of an unclouded mini-map, but the process itself is not to hard. Add the text mod that unclouds all of your maps, and it should be far easier to use this to get your characters wherever they need to go.
