This info is a little dated now. What are the hot spots for farming now? I finally got the gear to 55 with Ethrin, so tried out a few areas to get used to the build: - Stone Elementals out of Ascalon (HM) - Droks troll cave - Elona minotaurs (didn't drop squat) - Bergen, but didn't get too far (HM) - Ice Tooth Cave minotaurs (HM) - also didn't drop squat What's the "latest and greatest" monk 55 build? I enjoyed the "terra tank" farming with Dax more, including Pongmei, trolls, etc.

Jhaedin has a terra tank build for Raptors. I have a ranger build for snowmen, although I have not tried it yet. First City of Fahranur in HM, with Shield of Judgement is good. Slow to get there as there are some non-undead. Once you make it in you can farm SS points, and newbie greens.

Actually it is a Fire build, for raptors outside of Rata Sum. Rather than posting the Ele specific build, here is the pvxwiki search page. I believe that assassins and eles are the only professions that can farm in HM. As with most farms, this is not good for survivor candidates. I would be happy to take anyone through a run, and show the ele variant. This run takes about two minutes, assuming things go well.

What I was really curious about was the exact build that Jhaedin was using, as looking through the PvX Wiki doesn't give me a feel as for how well the build works in practice, where a guildie is more likely to give an unbiased opinion. Also, many of the builds that people use have some variation from what may be listed on the wiki (for example, my 55 builds tend to vary a bit from the hoard of 55 builds listed, and I have slight variations for different zones/enemies). Regardless, Jhaedin gave me the build last night, so I now know what I need. Now to just advance my ele through EotN to advance his Asura title.

My ele has an Asuran Rank of 4, and started with no rank. The increase in rank came soley from gathering the skills, 400 to 600 points, and the rest from farming this area (18000 points now). A high rank is not necessary, and I can't say that it would make a terrible difference. The area can be farmed without the Asuran skills, but there is no doubt that the skills make the farm more efficient. Worms does not use mindbender, and my first several trips were done without either of the skills. A lot of it depends on how quickly you can pick up items.

I would be happy to hop on vent and help anyone with the timing of that raptor farm run also. That run is quite effective for getting golds (had about 100 golds on sunday), but its just too perfect for special drop weekends. Made a small fortune selling bunnies + eggs this weekend. Im interested to see if the solo ele in UW build still works... havent had success myself.
