Is it just me or has the level of advertising popups and redirects on the Forumer sites gotten completely out of control?

And yes I have scanned my system for junk; comes up clean from multiple scanners.

I will admit that coming to this forum is one of the big compelling reasons to install adblock plus whenever I set up a new machine.

My understanding is that Forumer now allows ads from various providers (instead of simply Ads by Google). Here is the support forum post:

yea sometimes i get like 15 messages from antivir saying spyware, and come to think, it just happened like 2 days ago, and now in call of duty 2 i get connection interruption every 15 seconds, but i scanned my pc and everything is clean..idk could just be my stupid campus internet

Wild Cat (one of the Forumer Support Staff members) has deemed our forum "clean" and ok'd the switch back to Google ads. Limez (Forumer Admin) is the one who will actually be making the switch. Although they haven't provided me with a fixed time line, I expect that the switch will take place in the next few days. Very Happy
